Attorney George O. Gregson
Attorney George O. Gregson has been the principal of George O. Gregson, P.C. for some forty years and has practiced full time in Saugus, Massachusetts since opening his own office in the 1960’s. Attorney Gregson, a graduate of Boston University Liberal Arts College, in 1958, and the School of Law in 1961, continues to be involved in the general practice of law, specializing in Litigation.
Attorney Gregson has handled matters before the District Court, the Probate Court, the Superior Court, Appeals Court and the Supreme Judicial Court. He also practices before the Federal Court, First District, in Boston.
Attorney Gregson has developed a specialty in Land Damage (Eminent Domain) cases.
In addition to his courtroom work, Attorney Gregson has represented petitioners before local boards and commissions, obtained licenses, permits, variances and orders of condition for a myriad of clients and developers who are looking to do business in this geographic area or who seek to enhance their business.
Attorney Gregson is a former Lion’s Club member and the former President of the local businessman’s group, predecessor to the Chamber of Commerce, the Route One Businessman’s Association. He has also served the Town of Saugus as Town Manager and served for fifteen years as a Town Finance Committee member.
Attorney Gregson is an avid reader of history, particularly our Civil War history, and he golfs in his spare time at the Thomson Country Club in North Reading, Massachusetts.
Attorney Gregson is admitted to the practice of law before the Massachusetts Bar and the Federal First District Court, Massachusetts. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Essex County Bar Association, the Lynn Bar Association and the state Real Estate Bar Association. He is also a member of MCLE and MATA.
Attorney Gregson is a resident of Saugus, Massachusetts residing there with his wife Linda. He has five children, three of who graduated from Massachusetts' law schools and who passed the Massachusetts Bar Exam and were sworn in as attorneys. |
